Here is one of the cooler projects for creating LED panels. Unlike the ‘usual’ LED panels, those panels are mounted on flexible material so they can be folded and mounted pretty much anywhere.
(As you remember, we are big fans of checking the CRI when buying LEDs for photography projects).
There are two things I particularly light about this build:
- The use of False leather as the carrier for the strips, it is a durable and fine looking, so you will not be embarrassed to take it on high end sets. It does not fray. The uses shows to make the holding corners and the aluminum holding bracket are nothing short of genius.
- The other thing is the trick for using laptop adapters by connecting the two colors in serial.
